Happy Summer School season!
There is something about intensive academic settings that makes one realise what a joy it is to just read and write. I have spent my first day of summer school in a rather idyllic setting in Denmark and it seems like I am back in school. A sparse desk with books and work material.
I have not listened to podcasts and haven’t managed to continue reading Grand Hotel Abyss, which is a shame. On the other hand, being here is something that is very wonderful.
Paper presenting season is just beginning, of course. This summer I am also presenting on postcolonial punctuations in Münster. Good summer ahead!
